How to Order

Center Plate serves the food service industry, its suppliers, operators, and management companies. We are a product sales and design specialist. A minimum of one full pallet of product applies to all the products we sell. We offer several ways for you to place your order. Our goal is to make your purchasing convenient and secure for you.

Opportunity Items have additional ordering requirements.

Types of Food Service Businesses we serve:

Food Distributors, Wholesalers, School Districts, Universities, Large Cafeteria Operators, Chain Food Restaurants, Caterers, Banquet Facilities, Casino’s Food Operators, Day Cares, Sporting and other Event Facilities, Multiple Site Restaurants, Cruise Ship Lines, Chandlers, Correctional Facilities, Summer Camps, Fast Food Chain Restaurants, Military Feeding, Institutional, Multiple Site Supermarkets, Supermarket Delis, and Convenient Store Chains.
However, if you are interested in purchasing our products, but do not meet our minimum order requirement, Call us. We will put you in contact with a local distributor of our products.

There are three ways of ordering from Center Plate.

1. Send us an email:

2. Send us Fax:
Use our print ready form to send us a fax. You may also use your own Purchase Order Form and fax us that, or print the Center Plate Product Order Form PDF, complete the form and fax it to us at (708) 467-0414.

Purchase Orders must include:

  • Bill to Address
  • Ship to Address
  • Purchase Order Number
  • F.O.B. Point
  • Pick Up or Expected Date
  • Any additional instructions such as: export papers, Melamine Statements, Certificate of Free Sale, Shipping and Receiving Hours, and if Delivery appointments are necessary.

Please keep in mind that pricing will be confirmed upon receipt of your order and is based on volume, bid price, or pre-negotiated pricing. If you wish a delivered price, we will contact common carriers to obtain the best freight rate possible; unless we have quoted a delivered price.

Orders are to be submitted with at least 15 days lead time. We will do our best to fill all orders within your specified date, however.

If you are not an established customer: We require a Credit Application, (Web-based or Printable PDF ) Buyer and Contact information, phone number and fax number. Notification of credit approval will be communicated and ordered confirmed 24 hours after credit approval.

Business Hours
Our standard office business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. CST. We monitor our phone lines at all times to respond to any urgent business.


Ordering Opportunity Items:

The secondary market will have additional minimum purchase requirements on a per item basis on inventory available, location of inventory, urgency of sale, code dates of items, location storage capacity, etc. CPDC will advise of the minimum required purchase upon inquiry on item.
